Business challenges
- Wizard Pharmacy Services require the ability to offer a rewards and loyalty scheme to customers who shop for products belonging to the same supplier.
- These programs are been managed manually at each Pharmacy, requiring the customer and the pharmacy to maintain customer purchase records by validating receipts held and promo cards “stamped” in store to validate offers.
- When the customer has reached a threshold of purchase the pharmacy provides the promotional product to the customer and then requests reimbursement from the Supplier. Reimbursement is validated manually, requiring them to collect the physical evidence of their purchases in order to claim payment for the product given away.
Solution
- As Wizard already maintains transactions for Wizard Reward points from within Salesforce, we have extended this to introduce Supplier Rewards program.
- The extension also took advantage of existing processes built into Salesforce where Vouchers are issued to Customer based on certain criteria.
- Set up Campaign of type supplier to capture all key information to manage the supplier reward points allocations: Start Date, End Date, Threshold to issue vouchers.
- Implementation of automation to generate campaign members when a contact earned supplier reward points
- Set up rule engine to dynamically store rules with supplier’s product and points to be allocated.
- Build automation to calculate and assign points to customer when a purchase is made satisfying the point earning rule.
- Implementation of Schedule Batches to issue vouchers when a customer has earned points more than the threshold specified on the campaign. The voucher can then be redeemed by the customer for new purchase.
Results
- Wizard Admins can specify dynamic rules based on products to allocate points to customer.
- Wizard Admins can setup campaign for a supplier to give points on purchase for a specific period of time.
- Supplier points can be tracked at contact level and campaign level
- Customers earned supplier vouchers when buying products of specific supplier.
